I’m 72. My wife has dementia. I manage everything. (Always have.) Every night I wake up drenched in sweat, heart pounding. (The doctors say it’s fine.) It’s been months. This used to happen when the children were small, then stopped. Now it’s back. And I’m tired. Just so incredibly tired.
