I have always believed in the chain of command, in the necessity of the mission. When the Supervisor II opening was announced, I saw it as my final objective—a way to leave this department with the dignity of rank. I volunteered for the Housing Task Force, the Youth Outreach Board, and the local VFW liaison committee.
