I just… I feel like I'm losing my mind. My daughter, the youngest one, she needed help with her math homework, and I just… I couldn't remember the word for… for the thing you use to measure angles. You know? And it’s not just that, it's happening all the time now, with common words, and it makes me feel like I’m failing them, like I’m already gone even though I’m still here, stuck wondering what I could have done differently, if I’d just… if I’d just been a little more practical, you know? Instead of always chasing after… well, after nothing much, it turns out.
