Sometimes you’re just sitting there, you know, in a pew, and the sermon’s all about a loving God—and honestly, it's not a big deal but my mind just drifts to... you know those construction guys down the street? The ones working like dogs, rain or shine, building those fancy new condos, but their own kids still can't get new shoes? And you just think, like, all that talk about divine plans and benevolent oversight... it just doesn’t track with what you see right in front of you. It's stupid, I know, but you wonder why the honest, hardworking folks always seem to get the short end of the stick, like some cosmic performance review gone completely off the rails.
