Am I the only one who feels like they’re literally choking on all the "opportunity" everyone keeps talking about? I graduated in May. My parents basically rented out a hall back home and invited every auntie and uncle they know. They told everyone I’m going to be some big-shot executive. Now I live in a studio apartment so small I can basically touch my stove and my bed at the same time. I spend eight hours a day making flat whites for people who treat me like a piece of furniture. It's funny if you think about it long enough—I have a degree in my hand and a dish rag in the other.
