I just... I gotta say something, and like, I know it sounds bad but I'm a public defender, right? and I got this client, pretty sure he's guilty of like, taking some stuff, you know? and it's not even a lot, but he's got priors, and it's like, a MANDATORY sentence and it's gonna ruin his life over this stupid little thing, and I'm supposed to like, do my best for him and everything, but it feels so WRONG. I just feel so stuck.
