I'm a senior in high school and I pay all the bills. All of them. Electricity, internet, rent— everything. My parents can’t really speak English that well, so it’s always me explaining why the grocery bill is so high (because food is expensive, mom, duh). I’m supposed to be applying to colleges, but honestly, how am I going to do that when I’m too busy making sure we don’t get evicted? It's so stupid. I just want to be a normal kid for once (even though I know that's not really a thing).
