I’m supposed to be finishing this new logo for the bank, you know, the Big Local Bank? And I’m just staring at the screen, thinking about how I used to spend hours drawing dragons and shit, really intricate stuff, and now I’m making a stylized dollar sign with a leaf for a flourish—a LEAF—for something that will literally be on every withdrawal slip and billboard in this whole damn town, and it's just… it’s funny, right?
