okay this is gonna sound super dumb and like, probably not even a real problem?? but my grandpa finally finished his little wooden boat, like, THE boat, the one he's been working on FOREVER in the garage, sawdust everywhere, the whole nine yards. and i thought it would be this big THING, you know? like he'd be so happy to put it in the water. but he just... looks at it. and then goes inside. like he doesn't even WANT to take it out. and i dunno, it just kinda freaks me out, like what if i spend all this time drawing or making stuff and then... nothing? just a bunch of finished things i don't even care about anymore. i think maybe i just don't get it.
