anyone else ever just like... laugh along when someone says something REALLY messed up about you and you just wanna like disappear into the floor? cuz i did that. last saturday. at the bridal shower, right? i was wearing this dress my mom made me buy it was like a lavender color and brianna (the bride) made some joke about how it looked like a giant purple potato sack on me and i just LAUGHED. like a total idiot. my chest felt hot and tight but i just kept laughing and now i keep seeing her face, all smirky, and i just hate myself so much for not saying ANYTHING. am i the only one who does that? it was like 2:30pm when she said it... god.
