I saw that ad—the one for the fabric softener or whatever—and it made someone cry. Like, full on ugly crying. And the guys in the other room, they heard it. Laughing. I was so embarrassed. This is what it comes to? Getting old and crying at commercials. It’s too much. The kids are grown, parents... they need so much. I thought I was stronger than this. Stupid.
