I used to stay up all night, like, practically vibrating with ideas for new art stuff, and now… well, now I sort of just stare at the blank canvas, or whatever, and think 'UGH, another thing I HAVE to do for money' which is, you know, not really what I thought being a successful artist would feel like at 50, I guess, and honestly, the thought of actually starting a new big project, like one I used to LOVE, just makes me want to kinda curl up and take a nap, which is probably terrible, right? because I should still be all fired up, I think.
