I know this is dumb but I always make jokes when my partner tries to talk real serious. Like, about our future or whatever. He wants to dig DEEP and I just… can't. I'm too busy figuring out Mom's meds, making sure the kids actually DO their homework, running my business — it's non-stop, every single day, every day. It's not a big deal but I feel like an ASSHOLE for it. He probably thinks I don't care but I just don't have it in me, okay?
